Hence, the friction on the crate is 0.35 mg cos 58 Moreover, component of weight parallel to the ramp is mg sin 58 and therefore, the net force on the crate is: mg (sin 58 - 0.35 cos 58) with acceleration equal to: g (sin 58 - 0.35 cos 58) = 6.5 m/s2
