The mean height of 54 boys and 36 girls is 162cm. If the mean height of the girls is 153cm, then what is the mean height of the boys?

最佳解答:

Total height of the 90 people is 162 x 90 = 14580 cm Total height of girls = 36 x 153 = 5508 cm So total height of boys = 14580 - 5508 = 9072 cm with mean = 9072/54 = 168 cm
